Short description:
Using storytelling, narrative techniques, and theatre skills, we will co-create a story illustrated by self-taken photographs of acting poses. This photo-novel will be based on the words and stories the participants wish to share and will be presented to an audience at the end of the workshop.
While the photos are taken using minimal equipment (mobile phones), participants will learn and apply image-building and acting techniques to expand their possibilities for self-expression. The goal is to discover a new, more detached way of expressing intimate stories.
The workshop is organized into four parts:
• Storytelling: Sharing and selecting a common story.
• Planning: Identifying the main steps of the narrative (using storytelling skills) and working on image composition.
• Photoshoot: Developing acting and emotional expression skills while taking photos.
• Finalizing: Selecting and arranging the best images, and writing the accompanying text.
