‘’We must present ourselves as open to connecting and working together. We model how a healthy society should work and the arts are certainly a celebration of that.’’

(Participant in I-TAP-PD pilot training programme)

This Conference will explore the endless possibilities of Teacher- Artist Partnerships in fostering essential soft skills for the 21st century education: communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.

It is the final event of the 3-year Erasmus+ “International Teacher - Artist Partnership (I-TAP-PD)” project, which focused on enabling teachers and artists to develop their understanding, expertise and creativity of ‘arts-in-education’ practices, in equal partnerships with one another and with students and young people, in education, community and arts settings. The project offered a unique opportunity for teachers and artists to explore the nature and educational value of partnerships in supporting professional and personal development.

The 3-day Conference will bring together peer educators and artists from all over Europe, so don’t miss out on sharing knowledge and experience with others in the field!

We invite teachers, artists, practitioners, researchers and professionals with special interest and/or practice in Teacher -Artist Partnership models to share good practices, research, ideas, and experiences in formal and non-formal educational contexts.

You will be able to

  • attend keynote speeches, plenary sessions and a Special Interest Group (SIG) of your choice
  • participate in practical workshops
  • network with international peers from various creative disciplines, and explore future collaborations
  • attend a reception event on Friday evening
