Robin Pascoe is Senior Lecturer in Arts and Drama Education, School of Education, Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. He coordinates units in teaching the Arts in Early Childhood and Primary; Teaching Drama in Secondary; and, Engaging Communities through Drama, Research Focus: Drama and Arts curriculum, implementation, teaching and teacher education, Markers of quality in drama and arts education, Assessment in Drama and the Arts, Teaching Artists, Representation and authenticity in research. Robin has extensive experience in Arts curriculum leadership and drama education in schools and with the Western Australian Department of Education. He has experience with local, national and international arts education curriculum development. Recent research project: AiR (Artist in Residence) Commission Project at Murdoch 2014-2017 connecting Teaching Artists with Primary Teacher Education students at Murdoch. Robin is President of IDEA International Drama/Theatre and Education Association 2013-2020. He is a former President of Drama Australia and Drama West.
Ása Helga Ragnarsdóttir is the Chairman of FLÍSS, the Icelandic Drama and Theatre Association. She is a senior Lecturer in Arts and Drama Education at the School of Education, University of Iceland and a drama teacher at Iceland Academy of the Arts. She holds a degree Master of Arts in Drama and Theatre Education from the University of Warwick in England, 2002. Ása has been involved in curriculum development in Iceland and introducing drama in schools and higher education for over 35 years. She is an author of both textbooks and scholarly publications and articles on drama in education and has been a researcher for years. Her research interests are aesthetic learning processes in professional and interdisciplinary work. Ása is in the Congress Committee for the next IDEA world- wide Congress, which will be held in Reykjavík, Iceland 4-8 th July, 2022. She is a professional actress and was a host at the children’s program in the Icelandic television for several years.
Jenny Karavitou is a Greek Language and Literature teacher and a theatre pedagogue. She is a graduate of the University of Athens, with postgraduate studies at the University of Essex and the Royal Holloway University of London, UK. She is a founding member of the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr), involved in the design and implementation of many teacher training programs. Since 2015 she has been involved in the “it could be me – it could be you” awareness raising program on refugees and human rights, implemented by TENet-Gr and UNHCR Greece, in various capacities over time: as a coordinator for Northern Greece, as a Training Consultant, as a trainer and youth facilitator. She is a member of the Creative Expression Team of scholars, who created voluntarily the digital work Politropi Glossa (Centre for the Greek Language, 2017). She was the local coordinator of the project “Europe in Perspective: international cooperation in cultural learning” and one of the project’s trainers (2017-2019).
