Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Ioannis Poulios

Ioannis Poulios

Author, educator

Poulios Ioannis is a graduate of the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the School "Dim. Glinos ”two-year postgraduate training at the same university. He holds a master's degree in Educational Sciences from the Open University of Cyprus. In 2019 he received his doctorate in education sciences (Audiovisual Education and Cinema Education). He is the author of 26 scientific books related to the sciences of education. At the same time, he has published various articles in Greek and English-language magazines, while he has participated in domestic and international conferences. His research interests focus on audiovisual education and innovative educational programs. He is the founder of the National Thematic Network of Schools "Television Education", co-founder of the National Thematic Network "Education in the Media" (2019-2021). He also designed and coordinates pan-Hellenic and international programs such as: "Cyprus, Greece: educational bridges", "International Student Short Film Competition" and "Pontian Hellenism". He has extensive educational work on audiovisual education and innovative programs.
