Theatre Summer Camp 2025
for teachers, artists, group animators, students, teenagers, youth

26-31 August 2025 in Agios Ioannis Pilio Greece

"Departing..."

Summer has arrived, and with it comes the time to meet again. This year, we gather in the lush greenery and crystal-clear waters of Eastern Pιlio! Where the plane trees reach the sea… In Agios Ioannis, at the Y.M.C.A. facilities.

At the 22nd Theatre Summer Camp of the TENet-Gr, we are “Departing...” for new experiences—to co-create, to share, and to (re)fit into a community of acceptance, equality, and joy.
Can we all fit everywhere?
We’ll explore this together—through theatre workshops, artistic activities, open discussions, creative surprises, and of course, plenty of fun.

The camp is a safe, open, and creative space, where each experience can be transformed into collective expression and theatrical action.
From the individual, we move to the collective—where personal stories become shared threads and coexistence gains deeper meaning.

Experienced artists, educators of all levels, actors, dancers, theatre scholars, musicians, visual artists, drama pedagogues, and teenagers will connect through experience and dialogue, seeking ways in which art can be meaningfully and inseparably linked to education and everyday life.

The camp includes 4 daily Main (morning) Workshops for adults and 1 Main (morning) Workshop for teenagers aged 13 (who have completed the first year of lower secondary school) to 17. Teenagers participate in the camp accompanied by a parent/guardian (who may also attend one of the Main Workshops for adults).

The 4 Main (morning) Workshops for adults will be facilitated daily by: Simos Kakalas, Dimitra Syrou, Socrates Pappas, Polina Kremasta.
The Main (morning) Workshop for teenagers will be facilitated by: Nikoleta Dimopoulou, Sonia Mologousi.

Main Workshops take place in the mornings throughout the camp with the same facilitator, in various outdoor areas. Participants choose and attend one Main Workshop for the entire duration of the camp.

Complementary (afternoon) Workshops for adults will be facilitated by: Aglaia Naka, Anna Stavromitrou, Gianna Tsokou, Sylvia Misirli, Christina Stouraiti. The Complementary (afternoon) Workshop for teenagers will be facilitated by: Giorgos Moschos, Dimitris Konetas.

Complementary Workshops take place on the same day and time, so participants may choose and attend one Complementary (afternoon) Workshop.

The camp also includes performances, screenings, morning exercise/yoga, swimming, music, rest time, and—of course—fun, culminating in a farewell party.
