2,5 hour workshop
Part of the 2018 ATHENS GREECE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE/DRAMA & EDUCATION CONFERENCE
organised by the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr)

Language: Greek

How can we approach the position and thought of the immigrant/ refugee? How can we try to get to know him/her, to create bridges of understanding through the lesson of Language? The workshop using as a “vehicle” the artistic installation “Koutsos” from the “Immigrants” by Vlassis Kaniaris, attempts an experiential approach based on theatrical techniques. It includes the three essential elements of a drama lesson with students: creation, presentation and reflection. The workshop is included in the website “PolitropiGlossa” (Digital Educational Material, 2017).
