Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Gümüş Nevin

Teacher. drama teacher, Turkey

Nevin Gümüş graduated from the Department of Classroom Teaching, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Ankara University, in 2004. She worked in a private college in Ankara as a drama teacher. She stayed in England for one year and worked with disabled people conducting drama workshops with them. She completed her first Master’s degree on Creative Drama at Ankara University. Her thesis was on “Integrated Art Performances and Drama”. She has been working in elementary schools at Ankara Bilkent Laboratory and International School for 11 years, teaching drama at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. She has presented papers at various symposiums about creative drama and conducted creative drama workshops with different groups.
