Living Objects, Living Stories - An Experiential Puppetry Workshop
Facilitator: Sokratis Pappas

Agios Ioannis Pilio Greece, 26-31 August 2025
Main Workshop
Language: Greek

How many stories can a sock, a cup, or a doll hide?
How can the body and voice bring a simple object to life?

In this workshop, the object becomes a character, imagination becomes a tool, and expression becomes a bridge for communication.
Through puppetry techniques, theatre games, improvisation, and creative movement, we will experiment, create, and bring characters and stories to life.

Goal: To discover how everyday objects can transform into powerful tools of expression, communication, and education

What we will do:

  • Introduction to puppetry – types of puppets
  • Object and puppet animation
  • Physical expression and creative improvisation
  • Character creation and dramatization
  • Final presentation

For whom - Educators, teachers, artists, facilitators, therapists, and anyone interested in discovering the art of puppetry.

What to bring: Comfortable clothing, a favorite or random object, and a playful attitude.
