What can I do 30 minutes a day that has a positive impact on my life and the life around me? For 1/2 hours I disconnect for a gradual, deep reconnection with my only homeland, my body. The daily commitment and devotion to a short and honest personal moment with the only culture that my body carries, brings me back to the whole authentic, refreshed and generous. In the morning personal moment (instead of training), we will move inside the field where the practices of yoga, qi gong shen dao and the performing arts meet. Our vehicle, at the same time and goal, is the active listening of the different levels and parts that complete us, through structured and free paths (techniques) that start from the body.
Giovanna Michaliadi Sarti is a Greek-Italian performer and a theater, circus and yoga instructor, active member of the Multifunctional Art Group “Fabrica Athens”. Her performance training is based on a series of educational and research trips around the world: “Suzuki Training Summer Course” with the Suzuki Theater Company of
Toga in Japan, “The Actors Hub” (Suzuki Method for actors with Kameron Steele, Butoh with Daisuke Yoshimoto and “Voice and Body” with Jorge Parente) at the Grotowski Institute in Poland, “INI Summer Intensive Program” (Noh Theater) in Japan, “Liquid Way To Action” at Studio Matejka in Poland and “200h Nada Yoga
Teacher Training »at Nada Yoga School in India. In Greece he studied theater at the “Theater of Research” workshop with Fanis Katechos, Circus Techniques with Irina Gurova at the Circus Days – The Circus School of Athens, but also Site-specific
Performance with Kitt Johnson at the “Blooming Island” international workshop in Andros.She is an instructor in Erasmus + programs and other European Projects in Greece, Germany, Spain and Turkey. She has directed and co-directed the performances “Land without Man”, “Roots and Wings” and “Memories”, which were produced as part of The Greek-German Theater Youth Exchange Program “In and Out”. As a performer she has created the solo performance “Xanthi” which had its premiere as a guest at Transit Festival X at Odin Teatret – Nordiskteaterlaboratorium in Denmark. In addition, she has performed in the performances “7 Deadly Sins” and “Faith” by Fabrica Athens. She has participated in street theater festivals in Greece and abroad (Austria, Italy, South Korea, Macedonia) as a Hula Hoop Artist, Fire Performer and as a member of the artistic duet Mr and Mrs Bubble. In addition, she has collaborated with the Greek mission of Clowns Without Borders in Sweden.
