“it could be me – it could be you” is an awareness-raising project, targeting the educational community at large, on human rights and refugee issues. Its goal is to prevent and combat racism and xenophobia through using experiential learning, theatre and educational drama techniques.
It was implemented from February 2015 to June 2025 by the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in collaboration with the UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency. Since October 2025, it has continued to be implemented by the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network with the support of its members, under the auspices of UNHCR and IDEA (International Drama/Theatre and Education Association), and with the scientific support and collaboration of several university departments.
The project includes the following actions:

-
Action 2: Theatre-in-education workshops for students.
-
