Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Boumpleka Maria

Kindergarten teacher, Greece

Maria Boumpleka is a distinguished graduate of the Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her research interests include the educational approach to teaching pedagogical programs in pre-school age and the application of drama/theatre pedagogy and practice in kindergarten. She is an active member of the theatrical pedagogical group of the Faculty of Education of AUTh (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece)"PaedagogusLudens". Finally, she has attended and participated as a volunteer in International Conferences, Workshops and Arts/ Culture Festivals.
