Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Dima Aikaterini

Dima Aikaterini

Primary school teacher, Greece

Aikaterini Georgios Dima was born in Athens and lives permanently in the village of Manesi in Argolida. In 2000 she was admitted to the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed her studies in 2004. For the last 14 years, she has been working as a teacher in Primary Education and she has participated in various educational seminars-programs both as a trainer and as a trainee. She can speak English and French and is certified in computer use. She has served as vice president and member of the Board of Directors of the Primary Education Teachers’ Association in Argolida from 2010 until today. In 2017 she completed her postgraduate studies at the Department of Theatre Studies of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Peloponnese and obtained a MA in “Drama and Performing Arts in Education and Lifelong Learning”. Since 2018 she has been a Phd candidate in the Department of Theatre Studies of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Peloponnese.
