Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Karagianni Αgni

Karagianni Αgni

Teacher, museum educator, Ph.D candidate, Drama pedagogy, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece

Αgni L. Karagianni studied History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1987-1993). She is a PhD candidate in Pedagogy of Theater in museums atthe department of Primary Education of the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. She alsoholds a master’s degree in Theatre Studies (2007-2009) and has attended two annual seminars in Special Education (2009-2010) and School Administration (2010-2011) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has also attended several national and international scientific conferences as presenter.  She has worked as a teacher in High Schools (2002-2009), in Education for adults (2009-2012) and in Democritus University of Thrace as a student consulter (2010). She currently works at the Historical Museum of Alexandroupolis (2015-2017) in the field of the museum’s educational programs.
