Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Kosti Katerina

High school teacher, Ph.D in Drama in Education, postdoctoral researcher, Department of Theatre Studies, University of Peloponnese, Greece

Katerina Kosti works as a Secondary Education Teacher. In 1993 she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Athens and in 2008 she obtained a postgraduate degree (MA) from the Postgraduate Program Museum Studies of University of Athens. In March 2016 she was awarded a Ph.D. in the Department of Theater Studies of the University of Peloponnese, after supporting a Doctoral Thesis on the use of Drama in the Teaching of History. She has served as Cultural Affairs Officer of Secondary Education in Western Attica, where she has developed a number of training seminars for teachers on the use of alternative teaching methods such as Drama in Education. She has published several relevant articles and has contributed to scientific conferences. Since July 2016 she has been working on post-doctoral research at the Department of Theater Studies of the University of Peloponnese on Drama and  Third Age.
