23rd THEATRE SUMMER CAMP 2026
for educators, artists, facilitators, teenagers

27–31 August 2026 | Chiliomodi, Corinthia, Greece

“Impacts: Bodies and Voices in Action”

Summer is approaching, and we are already looking forward to the days when we will gather once again in Chiliomodi, Corinthia, in the historic area of ancient Tenea, among the pine trees, and create for four days a shared space of encounter, action, and artistic coexistence.

The 23rd Theatre Summer Camp of the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) returns this year under the title “Impacts: Bodies and Voices in Action”, inviting us to explore—through collective experience, theatre, and the arts—how we can create more open, participatory, and equitable spaces of coexistence, while also cultivating resilience, persistence, and care in response to the realities we face every day.

How do our bodies and voices meet within collective experience? How do we create spaces where everyone can express themselves, be heard, and coexist equally? How can theatre, movement, storytelling, music, and play become tools for connection, participation, and social imagination?

Through workshops, artistic activities, discussions, evening gatherings, music, and games, we will attempt to create a small community where artistic practice becomes a way of communication and collective experience. An open and safe space where lived experience transforms into creativity, and where encounters with others become opportunities for expression, interaction, and meaningful exchange.

Experienced artists, educators from all levels, actors, dancers, theatre scholars, musicians, visual artists, drama/theatre pedagogues, and teenagers will come together to explore—through experience and dialogue—ways in which art can connect meaningfully and inseparably with education and everyday life. Together, we will exchange experiences and investigate, through art and collectivity, more equitable ways of living and creating together.

The camp includes four daily Main (morning) Workshops for adults and one Main (morning) Workshop for teenagers aged 13 (who have completed the first year of lower secondary school) to 17. Teen participants must attend accompanied by a parent or guardian, who may also participate in one of the adult Main Workshops.

The adult Main (morning) Workshops, held daily, will be facilitated by: Brendon Burns, Christina Stouraiti, Irini Koumparouli & Haris Porfyridis, Ioanna Mitsika.
The Main Workshop for teenagers will be facilitated by: Giouli Douvou and Despoina Mitsiali.

The adult Afternoon (supplementary) Workshops will be facilitated by: Kelly Giannaki & Penelope Kazakoni, Eliza Zikou, Dimitris Karagiorgas, Dimitris Apostolopoulos, and Fransesco Morretti, while the afternoon workshops for teenagers will be facilitated by Antigoni Tsarbopoulou and Dimitris Karagiorgas

The camp programme is further enriched with afternoon workshops, performances and happenings, discussion events, morning exercise sessions, swimming pool activities, music, and—of course—fun.

Stay tuned!
