THEATRE SUMMER CAMP “Pelion Greece 2019”
Aghios Ioannis, Pelion Greece, 25-31 August 2019

Performance (in progress)

The Story of a Dog named Loyal

Language Greek

In the context of his collaboration with the TENet-GR and this year's seminar entitled "From the Tribes of the World to Our Tribe", Kostas Gakis will present for the first time the play "The Story of a Dog named Loyal» by Luis Sepulveda (Chile).

The performance is an open rehearsal, a work in progress. The play brings us to Chile of the Mapuche, the people of the earth who are violently displaced from their homes because of the greed of the white conquerors who literally plundered not only the land but the native populations for their profit. A dog talks to us about everything that seems to be lost forever; a dog that keeps the memory of a tribe alive; a dog that teaches people about humanity
