A a preConference "Theatre/Drama & Inclusive Education" workshop in Athens.
The Hellenic Theatre/Drama &Education Network (TENet-Gr)/ Attica Office in the framework of the pre/post-conference events of the International Conference 2025 "Theatre/Drama & Inclusive Education" organizes an experiential workshop with Christoph Leucht and Francisca Farkas.
The workshop is addressed to teachers and facilitators of youth groups. Especially to those involved in the education of Roma children.
During the workshop we will use self-awareness games and group cohesion games to get closer to Roma identity, beyond general identity, using the example of Roma heroes. Forum Theatre techniques will be explained and used.

Christoph Leucht, actor, Forum Theatre “kuringa”, sociologist, researcher, project manager, trainer and theatre maker. He developed and coordinated the first and second self-organised RomnoKher-Study 2011 and 2021 on roma education in Germany. He was research assistance of the federal working group on roma education at EVZ foundation 2013-2015, ROMED program development and implementation for the council of Europe 2012 – 2016. Together with Bárbara Santos and Till Baumann he founded KURINGA – the space for theatre of the oppressed in Berlin. He directed the play „Wir sind hier!“ of the ROMATrial youth theatre group, which was staged at the federal youth theatre festival in 2022 and played all over Germany 25 times. Christoph is the kuringa of the forum theatre group „masculinities lab“ – which invites especially men to discuss about sexism and patriarchy on stage. Christoph is actor and light designer in several KURINGA plays.
Franciska Farkas is a Hungarian actress of Roma origin, and a drama teacher. She is one of the few actresses of Roma origin in Hungary, but she is the only one who openly acknowledges her Roma origin. She studied social work and Hungarian drama, and has been working as an actress since 2014, and as a drama teacher since 2017. She has won several awards, both in Hungary and internationally. She has been a member of the European Film Academy since 2024.
