From prehistoric figurines to modern and future artificial intelligence robots, the doll, "the object," "the toy," or "the wonder" has been continually in search of relating the human's much-needed individual transcendence to the collective. In this workshop, the Therapeutic Puppet Theater will be introduced through its basic tools: the game and the puppet.

 

Dimitris Karagiorgas comes from Corinth, where he works as an MD in C&A Psychiatry and as a Psychotherapist. He collaborates with the Center of Greek Psychodrama & Sociodrama and the Department of Theater Studies of Peloponnese University. He is also active in the Theater & Therapy Studies & Research Center.
