We, Here and Now
Chiliomodi, Corinth Greece, 24-25 /8/2024, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Supplementary/afternoon workshop for adolescents as part of the Theater Summer Camp 2024
Facilitator: Yolika Poulopoulou
Language Greek
The workshop invites teenagers to negotiate as a group the social stereotypes concerning gender issues (genders and roles) that limit us and to come into contact with performance art.
The screening of the videotaped open presentation of a group of teenagers, held in Kalamata in January 2023 at the end of the workshop "M.A.R.I.K.A. - Speak, Listen, Ask, Tell, Understand, Change," and the screening of various video examples of artistic performances related to the topic, will give the participants an idea about this specific art form.
At the same time, the participants will become familiar with performance through exercises and simple materials, creating their own individual or group performances. The resulting actions will be placed in the "public" common area of the camp and can be repeated for the rest of the campers after consultation.
