Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Kallianta Thaleia

Primary school teacher, ΜΑ Drama in Education, Greece

Thaleia Kallianta is a primary school teacher, graduate of Marasleios School of Primary Education and holds a master’s degree in Drama in Education (U.C.E., 2004). She has attended workshops related to Drama in Education, Theatre in Education, Puppet-Theatre, Arts, Special Education and Systemic Psychotherapeutic Approach. She has been a member of the Hellenic Theatre Studies Association and the Hellenic Theatre/Drama Education Network. In 2007 she presented to teachers the new school books for Primary Schools. She has made presentations and implementations of workshops in Conferences and written articles in educational journals and sites. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Drama Association (2004-2007) and participated in international conferences.From 2010 to 2014 she served as the head of the Educational Department of the theatre group for young people “Theatro Neon” of D. Seitanis, in which she organized workshops and seminars for infants (with their parents), nursery and primary school children, teenagers and adults andcoordinated two conferences about Theatre and Education in “Aisxyleia Festival”.
