Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Anastasiade Maria

Social worker, drama facilitator, Cyprus

Maria Anastasiade is a social worker and postgraduate student in Theatre Studies. She has been teaching drama to children from 3 to 15 years old for the last 15 years and has participated in a number of theatrical and pedagogical programs. Since 2004, she has been the Principal of a nursery school and a coordinator of European programs. She has facilitated theatrical workshops for teachers with the Theatrical Organization of Cyprus and participated as a researcher in the Pan-Hellenic Theatrological Congress 2017 entitled "Theater and Otherness" and in the 3rd Pan-Hellenic Scientific Conference of IAKE titled "Humanities, Education, Society and Political Education" as well as in the conference for the family in collaboration with the Metropolis of Limassol.
