Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Karantzouli Emilia

Teacher, PhD candidate, Department of Primary Education, National and Kapodostrian University of Athens, Greece

Emilia Karantzouli was born and raised in Nafplion. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Primary Education of the University of Athens (UoA) and of the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the Athens School of Philosophy. She holds a master’s degree in "Theater and Education" and since March 2018 she has been a PhD candidate in the relevant field. She has developed research activity as part of the program “Theatrum Mundi” that was included to the activities of the European Program “Creative Europe 2016-2017” and as part of the program «The evolution of Greek dramaturgy in the era of Globalization» that was included in the project: «Research and Education Development of the Department of Primary Education». Her current research interests lie primarily in the use of digital media at the field of Theater/Drama in Education. She is currently working as a teacher at the Arsakeia Schools of Psychiko.
