Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Lagou Eleni

English language teacher, drama teacher, Greece

Lagou Eleni graduated from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the department of English Language and Culture to go on to postgraduate studies in Warwick University in the UK and completed her Master in the Institute of Education in Drama and Theatre in Education. Working as an English Language Teacher in an Independent Language School and occasionally doing drama workshops for different purposes, the most highlighting of which is the drama workshop based on the story of “Prometheus Bound” in a group of twenty primary school children in Guangzhou, in China, promoting Greek mythology and history. In addition, participating in storytelling performances inspired by traditional Greek tales for entertaining and educational reasons addressed to young and adults. Finally, participated in the “3rd International Conference in Creative Writing” in Corfu as well as in “2nd International Conference: Literacy and Contemporary Society: Spaces, Discourses, Practices” in Cyprus and organizing educational workshops in Central Public Library of Chalkida.
