Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Dougali Anna

Dougali Anna

Preschool teacher, special education teacher, Greece

Anna Dougali holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Ioannina (Greece) Faculty of Pedagogy. She is at the second year of her master’s degree studies in Special Education at the Interdepartmental Program of University of Patras and University of Nicosia. Anna is qualified in Greek Sign Language while she is a certified user and teacher of the Braille writing system.In 2017, she enrolled in a four-year course at the Workshop of Cultural Education, “School of Play”, which leads to a degree in Theatre Pedagogy while she successfully attended the programs of Marketing - Brand Management and Adult Education Instructors from The Centre of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is an active member of the Scientific Association for the Promotion of Educational Innovation, as the design and implementation of various experiential and innovative programs consists one of the main characteristics of her researchactivity.Furthermore, she has attended many seminars and workshops related to the creative play for kids while she participated as a speaker to various conferences regarding child phycology and education. Anna lives in Kozani, Greece and works at the Centre of Creative Play for Children “Red Socks” where implementation of a variety of experiential methods and innovative activities take place.
