Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network (TENet-Gr) in the 20th anniversary of its foundation (1998-2018), in partnership with the International Drama/Theatre & Education Association (IDEA) and in collaboration with a number of academic, professional and artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, is organizing the 8th Athens International Conference on Theatre and Performing Arts in Education.

Farmakaki Fani

Farmakaki Fani

Primary school teacher, Greece

Fani Farmakaki is a primary school teacher. After her postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Primary Education of Athens she continued with a Master Degree in «Drama and Performing Arts in Education and Lifelong Learning».. Her thesis aimed to highlight Drama in Education as an efficient method which highly contributes to the development of Elementary school fourth grade children’s love for reading. She has attended drama workshops in Greece and abroad and she is an active member of the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network. She works as a teacher in the French-Greek School of Aghia Paraskevi Eugène Delacroix.
