Afroditi Rizou

Assistant Regional Coordinator for Northern Greece (2020, 2017), Local Coordinator for Thessaloniki (2020)

Afroditi Rizou is a teacher in primary education with postgraduate studies at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the direction of "Society,Education and Pedagogy". Her master's thesis investigated the relationship between the Pedagogy of the Oppressed and the Theater of the Oppressed. For four years she taught Greek as a second language to immigrants at the "Odysseas" Solidarity School and was a member of the School's theatrical team. She has attended and participated in training seminars and conferences on interculturalism, literature, Greek as a second language, Pedagogy of Theater, storytelling. She is a member of the Tenet-Gr and since 2017 she has been an animator in the project "it could be me - it could be you". In 2017, she participated as a regional administrator of Northern Greece while in 2020 she was local coordinator in Thessaloniki and Assistant Regional Coordinator of Northern Greece.
