Fridrichova Petra

Head of Educational Research Centre, Faculty of Education, Matej Bel University, Slovakia

Petra Fridrichova is the Head of the Educational Research Center, Faculty of Education, Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica. Within the framework of her scientific research work, the area of her interest has been shaped from curricular and didactic questions on drama education and ethical education, education of teachers of ethical education to the issues of school reform in Slovakia as well as within the European context and to quality improvement in the teachers initial training and education. She has been a researcher in several scientific research projects (e.g. Reflection of the curricular reform in a pedagogical work of primary school teachers, Innovation of Ethical Education teaching), and in the development projects of the Ministry of Education (Innovation of practical professional teacher training). She managed the national project “Development of the professional competences of teachers of pre-primary, elementary and secondary education in the context of increasing success of elementary education system reforms”. She is a member of the national board of artistic preformation and is also active as a lector of drama education, school drama for teachers.
