"Comedic roads: Aristophanean comedy & Commedia dell' arte"

In the friendly and relaxing environment of “Anargyreios School” on Spetses Island, Greece, we organize the 3rd Theatre Summer Camp under the general title "Comedic roads: Aristophanean comedy & Commedia dell' arte". Under the guidance of experienced artist-teachers, educators, actors, theatre studies experts and university students will investigate ways to approach the Aristophanean comedy and Commedia dell' arte, through 4 experiential workshops. The schedule includes 6 hours of daily work in groups, select lectures, while Tai-Chi and Yoga sessions are offered, as well as time for swimming, rest and entertainment. In the last evening, presentations will take place and a farewell party will follow.

WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable clothes and shoes for work outdoors, a hat, a mat for exercises on the ground, towels, musical instruments... good mood!
