Short WORKSHOP
Folk Tales: The Art of Narration and Other Performing Arts
Eirini Marna, teacher, theater educator, storyteller
Language: Greek
The workshop is addressed to teachers of all levels and to all those who love folk tales.
Is narration a form of art related to theater or other forms of performing arts or is it something different ? The narrator '' sets up '' and prepares his/her narrations like the actor or follows a “lonely” way until he/she comes to share the fairy tale with others?
In this three-hour workshop we will deal with the folk tale “ Trisevgeny and the Three Citrus” and we will try to answer the above questions. We will propose ways of presenting this tale, using different theatre techniques.
