Spanou Haritini is a graduate of the department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psycology, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a postgraduate degree in “Theater & Education” from thePedagogical Department of Primary Education of the same university. During the elaboration of her thesis on the use of theatre/drama techniques as a methodology to teach History in Secondary education,she conducted several theatre/drama based interventions in two public secondary schools. She has also participated two annual training seminars on “Theory and practice of Theatre/Drama Pedagogy” and on “Puppet Construction and Animation”. She was involved in the field of creative engagement for children at the Eleonas Refugee Camp, under the supervision of SOS Village foundation. In 2018 she participated in the 3rd National congress “Education in the 21st Century: searching for Innovation, Art and Creativity”, where she delivered the paper “The experiential representation in the teaching of History: a case study”.
